Dear colleagues,

Following the conclusion of the 1st International Congress of Pediatric Orthopedics, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this historic meeting possible, jointly organized by the Spanish Society of Pediatric Orthopaedics (SEOP) and the Portuguese Society of Pediatric Orthopaedics (SPOP).

From June 5th to 7th, 2025, Santiago de Compostela became the stage for an intense and enriching scientific exchange, marking a milestone in Iberian collaboration and the advancement of our specialty.

We extend our special thanks to the Scientific Committee for designing a top-level program, featuring keynote lectures, dynamic “Cross Fire” debate sessions, and hands-on workshops that fostered learning, reflection, and professional development.

We are also deeply grateful to all the speakers for generously sharing their knowledge and expertise, as well as to the authors of oral and poster communications, whose rigorous and enthusiastic contributions showcased the richness, diversity, and vitality of current pediatric orthopedic practice and research.

A sincere thank you as well to our industry partners, whose valuable support helped bridge technological innovation with clinical application and was key to the success of this congress.

And, of course, our deepest appreciation to the Organizing Committee for their tireless work, dedication, and attention to every detail. Their efforts have ensured a smoothly run and truly memorable congress experience.

To everyone who joined us: your participation, enthusiasm, and commitment have far exceeded our expectations and helped establish this congress as a reference point for future editions.

Santiago de Compostela, with its deep history, spiritual heritage, and tradition as a place of gathering and reflection, inspired us throughout this shared journey toward scientific excellence and international collaboration.

We close this event with a strong sense of accomplishment and look forward to meeting again very soon.
